How to Make the Best Cancer Killer Juice

“Juicing won’t cure your cancer, but it’s an efficient way to get in the vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants from fresh fruits and vegetables,” said Rachel Beller, CEO and founder of  Beller Nutritional Institute and a dietitian nutritionist who specializes in weight management and breast cancer prevention.

Healthy lifestyles can help cancer patients both through and after their treatments. Several studies suggest that getting enough sleep, exercising during treatment, and eating a balanced diet can improve your quality of life including consuming healthy juices.

Consuming nutritious foods high in vitamins is undoubtedly beneficial, however, it will not cure cancer, so beware of articles that suggest otherwise. Nonetheless, nutrients are extremely valuable especially for cancer patients, so read on to discover a step-by-step guide on how to make the best cancer killer juice!

How To Create The Healthiest Juice

When looking to create the best cancer killer juice, Beller recommends keeping it primarily focused and not adding too much fruit to help to keep the sugar low. In addition, juicing removes some of the valuable fiber, so be sure to add a fiber booster to your juice.

One way in which to do this is by mixing a tablespoon of chia or basil seeds with water for two minutes and then mix into your juice. In addition to boosting fiber, these additional ingredients add to its overall nutritional value and give your juice a tantalizing crunch.

Adding  fiber is key to making a cancer killer juice.

Fiber isn’t just roughage and good for your digestion,” Beller said. “It’s essential for breast health and thrivorship. Research has shown it can help with hormone balance, remove excess estrogen, boost gut health, balance blood sugars, assist with weight management, and support the immune system all of these things add up to boost breast cancer protection.”

In addition, there are essential ingredients that studies have shown that demonstrate anti-cancer properties such as protecting DNA and anti-inflammatory properties. Keep reading to discover Beller’s top recommended ingredients you should include in your cancer killer juice!

The Best Ingredients to Make a Cancer Killer Juice

  1. Ginger: Ginger may help decrease inflammation and reduce cancer cell proliferation. It also aids digestion.
  2. Turmeric: Turmeric is shown to have potent anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties due to its active component curcumin.
  3. Parsley: Parsley contains apigenin, which may kill cancer cells and prevent metastasis!
  4. Broccoli Sprouts: Broccoli sprouts have up to 100 times the amount of sulforaphane (major anticancer phytochemical) compared to regular broccoli!
  5. Watercress: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) ranked watercress as the number one nutrient dense vegetable. In addition, watercress contains indole-3 carbinol that may fight breast cancer by enhancing our body’s natural detoxification processes.

Lastly, it’s important not to rely solely on juicing, and Beller recommends getting additional fiber through things like smoothies and soups.

“This way you’re getting all the good from your food,” Beller said. “Smoothies and soups are still easy to make and drink and they keep you fuller and more satisfied until your next meal.”
