This is my first post-bilateral DIEP flap bra and it is exactly what I needed! My surgery was on January 8 and I'm writing this on February 5 - exactly 4 weeks post-surgery. First, and most importantly, it is beyond soft and creates absolutely no pressure on my flaps, scars etc. Beyond that, I actually teared up because in this bra my new foobs look so ... pretty! I completely underestimated how heartening it would be to just feel like I looked good again during this pre-revision healing period when my body is just flat-out uncomfortable and still evolving daily. Thank you to the team at AnaOno - well done!
Hi Sherri! Thanks for shopping with us! We're so glad you love this new style and feel comfortable, supported, and most importantly, whole and pretty again! We're always here for you because you should never feel like you're alone. Keep lookin' good, gurl!
This bra made me feel like a woman again. Before my mastectomy I used to wear such pretty lacy bras with underwires. Now I can only wear without the underwire. This lacy, super soft bra made me feel comfortable and sexy at the same time!
Hi Tara! We're so happy we could help make you feel pretty and whole again after such a difficult time. Always remember that you're Never Alone!
Let’s just say since I purchased my first Ana Ono bra I threw out every other bra I ever owned. Never looking back! I’m building my collection and can’t wait to purchase more!
First, I really wanted this bra because after my initial surgery I so desperately wanted to feel like a girl again. I have a DIEP. Just something pretty for me. This bra is pretty, there's no question there. The cups are about a half to full size smaller than the Rora bra when it's on the tightest hook and this one is on the loosest. There is no image of the inside of the bra, but just like the outside, it has a seam that goes straight through my scars. It also only has 5 hooks I believe instead of the 7 on the Rora. The bra is made of mesh and lace in the body and does not stretch. I found that it positioned me oddly and was not attractive when worn personally. The band is constructed just like the Rora, same with the back and will sit just the same. I wear a 38DDD in most bra sizes. I have the Rora in XL and wear it on the tightest hook now (it was on the loosest post-surgery). I can now wear the Rora in a L. If you're all healed up and want something pretty, I'd give this a shot. AnaOno is great with customer service, exchanges, returns and helping with insurance.
