    Find Balance For Uneven Breasts

Finding balance for uneven breasts can feel very frustrating, and we get it. We hear from customers every day about how one breast is bigger than the other, and how uneven breasts don’t fit nicely into many bras. We get it. Uneven breasts can be the result of many things in life, from early adolescent development to post-nursing, to breast surgery. At AnaOno, we pride ourselves on designing bras that are just as unique as you are, but we also understand that there may be special moments in life where you don’t want to feel that everyone is looking at your chest and can see the difference from side to side. So for those times where you want to feel balanced, appear symmetrical under your clothing, or have a special night out, you can find balance with our partner Amoena, to Shape Your Way, Any Day.

    Shape Your Way, Any Day

AnaOno and Amoena have partnered to help you get the fit you love and the balance you want.

AnaOno and Amoena are teaming up to help you shape your way, any day. What do we mean? Both Amoena shapers and AnaOno bras are meant for those who’ve had breast surgeries – and we think they’re better together.

Uneven breasts… it’s not the easiest thing to talk about. So, let’s talk apples and oranges! It's a visualization that makes sense; these two things are not the same and don't fit the same way in a (hypothetical) bra!

Most of us have one breast that is somewhat different in size or shape than the other. That’s a fact of the human body. Our left and right sides don’t mirror each other exactly.

When it comes to breasts, we all have an imbalance. And if your unevenness is more pronounced because of surgery or natural causes, you’re far from alone.

Keep reading to find out more about Amoena's Balance Adapt Air and their full portfolio of breast shapers. And look out for the #unevenbreasts hashtag on social media.

    What's a Breast Shaper?

Silicone breast shapers like Balance Adapt Air are a gentle and non-invasive solution for restoring symmetry and rebuilding confidence after partial removal of the breast and in cases of breast asymmetry.

Tell me more about Balance shapers

Simply put, shapers are silicone inserts you can wear in your bra next to your skin to restore breast symmetry. There are many different sizes and shapes so we recommend you always seek out a professional fitter. Amoena's shapers are produced in a high-quality silicone which provides an exceptionally natural fit and feeling. Additionally, their patented Comfort+ technology absorbs, stores and releases body heat to help regulate and balance fluctuations in body temperature for ultimate comfort all day.

    Who Can Wear Them?

Shapers are a popular solution for those:
    • With natural breast asymmetry or breast malformation
    • After breast-conserving surgery
    • After multiple biopsies
    • After a reconstruction with changes over time
    • During expander therapy prior to a reconstruction

How Do I Get A Shaper?

    1. First, make an appointment with your doctor and ask for a prescription. Shapers may be covered by your health insurance.
    2. Then find an Amoena retailer close to you and have a professional fitting.
Find your closest retailer below, or check out a local boutique.

How Do I Wear A Shaper?

Wearing a shaper is easy and comfortable. You can wear it just inside a properly fitted bra directly against the skin. For a full coverage bra, we would recommend the Monica Bra or the Rora Bra. If you are looking for a style with lace, we recommend the Susan Bra or the Gloria Bra.

    Why Shapers Are The Solution

Today, 70 to 80 % of all breast cancer cases are treated with breast-conserving surgery. The tumor is removed in such a way as to preserve as much natural breast tissue as possible. Some might decide they need additional surgery if the imbalance is more pronounced. But there is a simpler solution: breast shapers.

The extent and type of asymmetry differs from patient to patient. Amoena offers you a comprehensive portfolio of shapers to meet specific needs, illustrated below.

We strongly recommend visiting a nearby retailer and making an appointment with a certified fitter who can help you find the right size and shape for your body.

    amoena shapers

Amoena offers many different shapes and sizes of breast shapers to accommodate for many types of asymmetry.

Amoena Balance Shapers are helpful in a number of situations:

    • Reconstructed breasts that are very rounded in front and is missing the natural apex that fills in a bra cup.
    • Reconstructed breasts with nipple-sparing that can produce erect nipples all the time. The Amoena Balance Thin Oval works well as a nipple cover.
    • Only one breast is reconstructed and therefore there is unevenness between the reconstructed and natural breast.
    • Reconstruction with expanders where one may want to wear a Shaper that expands with them, such as the Amoena Balance Adapt Air.
    • Natural asymmetry such as Poland’s Syndrome.
    • A Shaper can be seen as an accessory that one may not wear daily, but in certain situations such as a wedding, job interview, at work, etc. Either way, Shapers are designed to provide one with confidence when they need it.

Shape Your Way At These Retailers

With this unique collaboration, you will find Amoena Balance Shapers and AnaOno bras in some of your favorite boutiques across the country. Keep checking this list -- it's growing!
