What to Look For in a Recovery Bra:

01. Front Closure Design

After surgery, reaching behind your back isn’t something that most people can do comfortably. A front closure means you can get dressed on your own, without help, with more ease.

Avoid anything with rough seams or underwire. (We love modal fabric, which is cool like silk, but softer and stretchier than cotton.)

03. Drain Management Built In

Surgical drains are something most people don't think about until they're home from the hospital. A bra or belt with drain management is a small thing that makes a big difference.

04. Compression First

In the earliest days of recovery, a compression bra is doctor-recommended to support healing tissue and help the surgery site settle. As you heal, you'll graduate to a bra that can be softer and more flexible.
