It’s been five years since my preventative double mastectomy and subsequent reconstruction surgeries, and I’m only just beginning to feel confident in my new body. On the other side of my healing journey  after four surgeries, surgical drains, tissue expanders, and three different sets of implants  I immediately felt myself alleviated of an emotional burden so enormous that I honestly feel physically lighter. I no longer have to worry quite so much about a future cancer diagnosis, but I had difficulty coming to terms with my new breasts.
Because we hate drains so much, and wanted to make the lives of everyone going through a mastectomy as easy as possible, we designed the Miena Robe with a game-changing feature: The Drain Belt. Read along and learn how this one revolutionary design feature will change the way you heal from your mastectomy.

We know finding a bra after breast surgery can be overwhelming. That's why we do what we do. When it comes to fit, the needs for those of us who've had a mastectomy, reconstruction, radiation, lumpectomy, or other breast surgeries are very different than the standard underwire and molded cups often found in most bras.

When it comes to finding a comfortable bra, especially post-surgery or after a mastectomy, we are all about softness. But finding a super-soft bra feels next to impossible with all the scratchy lace and stiff padding out there in the lingerie department. But what makes one post-mastectomy bra style soft versus other wire free bra styles that are ridiculously, outrageously, and HEAVENLYsoft?

Are you looking for post-surgery bras? For some thrivers, it can be tough to find a style that’s suited to their shape after surgery. There are so many possible roads you can take, whether it’s reconstruction, using breast form inserts or being flat and fabulous. There are tons of breast reconstruction bras and pocketed bras for those with a certain type of post-surgery silhouette, but where can you find the best bras for a flat chest?

At AnaOno, we celebrate flat and fabulous individuals every day. That’s why we’re delighted to walk you through what makes a great flat bra and show you where you can find them. Learn more about bras for flat chests and discover unique styles you’ll love on our site.
