I just love these comfy pants for lounging or dancing or really just about anything! This is my third pair because my first pair in black were a size medium and I found that they seemed a bit too loose and long for me. My second one in rose is a size small which fit just right. I'm short, only 5'0" and about 130lbs. Hope this helps someone with sizing!
First the quality of the pants is superb. Soft fabric and enough stretch after surgery. The color is beautiful and it refreshing to have some recovery garments that do not look like medical scrubs!! I’ve worn these pants to my post op medical appointments and my nurse was impressed by the functionality of the pants with the drain pouches. Thanks. Not able to stand straight up yet since I had the DIEP surgery so a picture will be forthcoming. I plan to try other products after I get further along in my recovery Journey and no longer have to wear my compression bras and binder. Thanks for creating such a quality product.
I bought these pants in black before my bilateral mastectomy + sentinel node biopsy and have been living in them ever since, in fact I wore them out of the hospital. They are so soft, great quality, and fit beautifully (I am 5’6 and 140 lbs, typically wear a size 8 pants and I ordered the M). Love the high waist—it helps me feel gently supported right now, like I’m wrapped in a soft blanket. For drain storage, I found that I preferred to use the shirts and hoodies I bought that have interior pockets instead of using the pockets in these pants. Keeping the drains in my top rather than pants made using the restroom easier (since I didn’t have to take them out and hold onto them, then put them back again), and the pockets on the inside of my shirts/jackets were bigger and could hold not just the drain bulb but the tubes as well. (Also there are 2 drain pockets in the pants, so if you have more than 2 drains they won’t all fit.) I think a recovery hoodie w/drain pockets that matches these pants could be a great addition to this amazing product line! Despite not using the drain pockets like I thought I would, I am glad I bought these and will be wearing them forever and ever! So grateful to AnaOno for thoughtfully designing clothes to serve me so well through this difficult process (and beyond!).
I’m familiar with AnaOno from my mastectomy and reconstruction in 2014 and 2018. But after I tore my ACL and Meniscus and found out I would need surgery, I bought these lounge pants. They go over my giant brace easily, and I even wear them to physical therapy because the legs are loose enough to be pulled up so the therapist can work on my knee. I would love them even more if the drain pockets were just a little deeper to hold my phone securely while I am crutching around.
I own 3 pair (2 black and 1 rose) and wear these just about everywhere. They’re not just great for recovering/holding drains after surgery. I’m still carrying a ton of chemo/steroid/hormone blocker weight and I feel attractive in these. The fabric is so soft and breathable. Shipping is fast and reliable.
