Meet Dana

Chest Type:  Double Mastectomy with Implant Reconstruction

Why did you start AnaOno?

"Many things changed after my breast surgery, but the one I did not imagine changing was my underwear drawer. I scoured the globe looking for a bra that would fit, but continued to show up braless. That is when I knew something needed to change. I decided to use my many years of fashion design experience, and (re)design the bras, until I created one that fit my body, that wasn't only comfortable, but also beautiful.

AnaOno may have been born out of necessity, but today it gives us all a reason to celebrate what makes us different."

What is your favorite AnaOno Bra?

"The Niya Pullover Bra is my absolute favorite!

What does it mean to you to work for AnaOno?

"It's always been important to me to empower women at every stage of their lives. Women work so hard to take care of others and often struggle with support when it's time to receive care, especially when sick. This lack of care is unfair but not uncommon. I'm happy to be part of a team that normalizes meeting the needs of these women, encouraging rest and above all, healing!"

I think the most impactful day I had at AnaOno was going to my first photoshoot and interviewing the models about their cancer journey, it was so moving to hear all their stories."

What does it mean to you to work for AnaOno?

"Working for a brand as genuine and inclusive as AnaOno means so much to me. I lost my grandmother to breast cancer and I wish I knew resources like this existed. It is more than just feeling comfortable in super soft, yet gorgeous bras after chest surgery, but bringing a community together, learning from and being supportive of each other because you are in fact #NeverAlone"

What is your favorite AnaOno Bra?

I LOVE the Molly because she is so supportive and soft but the Monica is a close second!

Meet Rebecca

Chest Type: Au Natural

What does it mean to you to work for AnaOno?

"I absolutely love working at AnaOno. We are a small team, which means that we all work very closely together, which I love. My favorite part about working at AnaOno is knowing that we are helping people in need, which is something that I personally feel really good about. While I was in college, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and it was an extremely scary time for her and my family. Knowing that AnaOno was here for her and helped her through that time really meant so much to me, which was really the main reason why I applied. Seeing firsthand what breast cancer can do to someone you love is hard, so its so comforting knowing that AnaOno was not only here for my mom, but also for everyone else who also has gone through breast cancer."

What is your favorite AnaOno Bra?

"I loveeeee the JamieLee"

Fun Fact:

"I'm a die hard eagles fan! (the super bowl lose is a sore subject)"
